Latest Updates for Parents

9:30 PM Monday,

4th January 2021

To all Managers, Coaches, Coordinators, Players and Parents, you will all be aware that in England we have returned to Lockdown, in the light of schools not returning until after half-term at the earliest we will provisionally resume on Friday 26th February with training at Tiffin Girls School and games will will played from Saturday, 27th Febuary unless there are futher notices from the Government and FA. Parents will appreciate that new strain of the virus spreads faster and the NHS are under considerable pressure particularly in London and the South-East but it is growing in others parts of the country. We will keep you updated.

When we restart remember however that there may be stricter rules for meeting outdoors and we still need to ensure we follow social distancing rules. It may mean that parents/players must not mix outside their household groups but may meet with one other from ouside your normal household when spectating at Latchmere to watch a game. Designated areas for managers/teams playing will be marked with Yellow markers and Sanitizing Stations  provided at the entrance to these areas.

Where possible only one parent should attend with their child.

Registration will continue to accommodate new players. A reminder for those registered but who have not paid the subscription please do so.

Fixtures are posted on the relevant age related leagues and these will be updated to reflect the lockdown period as we decide now to to conduct the season but we are informed by IDVerde who are responsible for maintaining the pitches on Latchmere that they are considering extending the pitch availability by one month. This is still to be confirmed

Note no player will be permitted to play without both player and parent signing the Code of Conduct which will include KLL COVID Guidelines.

This season to reduce the number of parents and players on Latchmere at any one time we will having gaps between games of 10 minutes. In Sevens and Juniors unlike last season we will not be playing two short games but one longer game each of 4 quarters to allow the maximum number of subsitutions and give all players a minimum of 3 quarters of a game.

Training on Friday at Tiffin Girls School, whose facilities we use, will restart at the earliest on Friday, 26th February 2021 at 6PM to 7PM and remains 1 per player but we will require parents to drop off at the gate and not come inside as we endeavour to minimise contact.

Please note after dropping off you cannot wait in the carpark. When you pick up your child you must maintain social distancing and you will see 2 metre markings along the Fenceline. Masks must be worn by those picking up children if waiting outside on the pavement along the Fenceline in accordance with the School Rules for COVID 19. Reminder No Dogs are allowed anywhere on the School premises.

Test and Trace. In accordance with Government and FA Rules we have to legally provide a QR Code for the different locations that KLL operate at. These will be displayed at the venues; Tiffin Girls (Friday Night Training), Bantams (Dinton Field) and KLL (Latchmere). The NHS Test and Trace App can be downloaded and the QR Code scanned.

We will continue to monitor the Government and Surrey FA websites and inform parents on any changes that are published.

All players regardless of ability are welcome to join KLL. Players will be allocated to teams and informed during August each year to which league and team they have been allocated.

New Players who wish to join should complete the On-Line Registration Form or contact the Secretary at

In particular we are looking for girls aged between 9 and 12 (as at 1 Sep 20) to play in Seven-A-Side and U14-U15 Boys for Senior League teams.

We have a number of girls playing mixed football in Seniors, Intermediates, Juniors and Sevens but wish to increase number of girls playing with the aim to increase the number of All-Girls teams in subsequent years.

The Annual Subscription for the season 2020-21 for a player is 80 plus 30 for any additional sibling. Bantams subscription will be 50 plus 30 for each sibling in Bantams.

Wanted More Girls to Play Football

Currently KLL do not have any All Girls teams but they play Mixed Football. We would like to encourage girls to register so we can form a number of Girl's teams in our Seven-A-Side Leagues (U9-U10 and U10-U11). Girls from the same school could form teams.

Training 2020-21

Training, currently suspended, is run at Tiffin Girls from 6-7 pm on Fridays for the 2020-21 season (Less Fridays during Half Term and the Christmas period)

KLL provide training only for those in Seniors (U14), Intermediates, Juniors, Sevens and Bantams (Senior Section) who are registered to play and for those waiting to get a place who have formally applied to join. It costs 1 to attend.

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

By now you will probably be aware that from the 25th May 2018 the new General Data Protection Regulations, more commonly referred to as GDPR, came into force. This not only effects all businesses and government bodies but also all other organisations who use personal data to support their operations.

As a result KLL have a duty to inform all parents on what personal data we collect and why and how KLL uses that data to carry out its activities. In KLL personal data is not shared with outside agencies and the data collected is only that that enables KLL to communicate with parents and players on the footballing activies we run on your behalf.

Committee members and managers are only provided access to that information to enable them to fulfil their respective roles and that is with your consent or in order to fulfil our contract with you. For example cancellation of games, news of KLL events and information on FA run courses that you may have requested information on.

You are entitled to see copies of all personal data held by KLL on you and your child and to amend, correct or delete such data. You can also limit, restrict or object to the processing of that data.

Unlike large corporate bodies we do not maintain online personal accounts and data provided is collected on a physical registration form. It is then consolidated on a spreadsheet which is password protected. Only those members of the committee who need access to that data are provided a copy. Managers are only provided with contact details that you have consented to use.

KLL does however have an online application form and the details provided are then sent only to the football secretary. The football secretary retains a list of players wishing to join KLL and will only contact via the method of communication an applicant's parent(s) select. The data provided is retained only until the applicant is informed they have a place and a formal registration form physically completed.

For the 2018-19 season we will be updating our Privacy Policy and explaining how your personal data is processed and stored. A copy of this policy will be made available on this website.
